Domain Registration

A domain name is your website's address on the internet. It's what users type in their browser to visit your website. For example, "example.com" is a domain name. Domain names are used to identify and locate computers and resources on the internet.

Domain registration is typically instant. Once you complete the registration process and payment, your domain is registered to you immediately. However, it may take up to 24-48 hours for the domain to fully propagate across the internet, meaning it might not be immediately accessible everywhere.

WHOIS privacy protection (also called domain privacy) keeps your personal information private. When you register a domain, your contact information becomes publicly available in the WHOIS database. With privacy protection, we replace your information with proxy information, protecting you from spam, identity theft, and unwanted solicitations.

Yes, you can transfer your domain from another registrar to us. The transfer process typically takes 5-7 days to complete. To transfer a domain, you'll need to unlock the domain at your current registrar, obtain an authorization code (EPP code), and then initiate the transfer with us. We'll guide you through the entire process.

If you don't renew your domain before it expires, it will enter a grace period (typically 30 days) where you can still renew it at the standard rate. After the grace period, the domain enters a redemption period where you can still recover it but at a higher fee. If not renewed during the redemption period, the domain will eventually be released back to the public for registration by anyone.
